Waterbeach Brass placed 3rd at London & Southern Counties Regional Contest
Following hot on the heels of 3rd place at Butlins in January, Waterbeach Brass enjoyed further success at the regional contest in Stevenage where Waterbeach are in the 3rd Section.
Although missing out on the chance to attend the National Finals by just one place, the 3rd place result was sufficient to promote the band to the 2nd Section at the end of the year.
The trophy for 3rd place is also quite magnificent, and there was a small cash prize too.
A brief rest over Easter and then work starts on putting together a programme for our Summer concert season.
Sporting our huge cup shortly after the results were announced
